Bill brings a wealth of
experience in business, construction and real estate matters to the Bay
Laurel Law Group, LLP. He earned his Juris Doctor
from the Peninsula Law School while running King Enterprises, General
Contractor. After 35 years in that industry, he especially enjoys
working with companies in the trades to help them build their businesses
by guiding them to set sound policies and decisions for choice of
entity, hiring, contracts, business succession and other legal
matters.
Bill served in the Air
Force and has lived in Japan as well as many different cities in the
United States. He enjoys annual trips to the Colorado wilderness,
winemaking, sailing, flying and tinkering. He and Kathy, his wife of forty
years, enjoy time at their place in the Sierras and playing with
their grandchildren. |

Lori
A. Adasiewicz
Partner,
Attorney

Lori has practiced exclusively in the areas of estate
planning, probate and trust administration and conservatorship law since
1998. Lori serves on the Board of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council
and is a Laureate Member of the Southern California Institute. Through
SCI, she teaches at the
institutional level about estate and business planning. She recently
co-authored For California Doctors, a guide for physicians about
estate and business planning and wealth preservation, which is due out
in 2009 (Guardian Publishing).
Lori earned her Juris Doctor
from the University of California Hastings
College of Law. Her undergraduate degree is in Spanish from SFSU. In pursuit of that
degree, she lived in Mexico City for a year while she attended the
Universidad Iberoamericana.
Lori spends her free moments
kayaking, gardening and hiking with her dog. She can also often be found
wine tasting in Sonoma or Napa. She enjoys being a mentor for young
lawyers and a coach for entrepreneurs. To that end, she co-founded Power
of the Purse, a mentoring and networking organization for women in
business in San Mateo County. |

Max Riederer von Paar
is a partner with the Washington DC law firm RUBIN, WINSTON, DIERCKS,
HARRIS & COOKE, L.L.P. and Of Counsel to Bay Laurel Law Group, LLP.
He is licensed in Washington DC, Virginia, New York and Germany. His
practice focuses on assisting international clients in navigating the
American legal system. Max specializes in estate planning and asset
protection for multinational families and individuals (cross-border
charitable giving, use of offshore life insurance including private
placement insurance, planning with foreign trusts, etc.) as well as in
international business transactions, including international litigation
and mergers and acquisitions.
Max serves as outside
general counsel for the German Embassy and German military personnel in
the United States and Canada, and he represents the Federal Republic of
Germany and its entities as well as a number of large German nonprofit
organizations. He also is counsel to Heisse Kursawe, a Munich-based law
firm, and serves on the board of the German American Business Council.
Max speaks regularly on international and transnational legal matters
and is an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School
of Business and Public Management where he lectures on the legal aspects
of international business. |

Andrea Delgado is our
Director of First Impressions and Client Relations Coordinator. An
integral part of our team, Andrea is your point of contact in reaching
our firm. She coordinates the client process and attorney calendars.
Andrea loves to shop
and take weekend trips to Las Vegas. Andrea is happily married to her husband
Sal and they have two spirited children, Alicia and Elias. |
